５月第２日曜日、母の日。アメリカ人は「母の日」をとても大事にする。
実家離れて暮らしていたとしても、できる限り母と一緒に食事をしに行ったり、電話をして「ママ、愛しているよ」と伝えたり、念入りに探して手に入れた贈り物を届けたりする。
今年の母の日、気温が一気に上がってセントラルパークは大賑わいだった。
芝生の上でピクニックや日光浴を楽しむ人々。
ジョギング、サイクリング、パフォーマンス。
こんなに多くの人達が、冬の間はいったいどこで週末を過ごしていたのだろうかと驚いてしまう。
摩天楼の間に広がる、緑溢れる公園は、人々のエネルギーで満ち満ちていた。
こうしてまた、人々は熾烈な一週間を生き抜いていくのだ。
Americans think the "Mother's Day", Second Sunday of May, is very
important.
Even if they live apart from home, they go to see their mothers to have a
lunch or dinner as much as possible, or they call them to say “ I love you,
mom" on the phone , and they ask to deliver the gifts that are placed in
hand looking closely to.
On the Mother's Day of this year, Central Park was a large bustle with
temperatures rising.
People enjoyed the picnic and sunbathing on the lawn, jogging, cycling
and performance.
I wondered where so many people have spent the weekend during the winter.
Beautiful Park with green, spread between the skyscrapers, was full to the
brim with the energy of the people.
Take a deep breath of the weekend.
Thus also, People are going to survive the fierce one week.
