猫の執念は、侮れないものがあります。
Cats' tenacity can't be underestimated.
私も、小学生の頃に飼っていた猫が、煮干しが置いてある戸棚に行き、その戸を器用に開けて、ちゃっかり、煮干しをせしめていたのを、よく覚えています。
I also remember clearly that when I was in elementary school, my cat would go to the cupboard where dried sardines were kept, deftly open the door, and carefully pick up the dried sardines in his hands.
実は、その猫、目が悪かったのですが、当時の家の天井裏に棲みついていたネズミを、ものの見事に狩っていました。
In fact, the cat had poor eyesight, but was able to successfully hunt down a mouse that was living in the attic of the house at the time.
猫の底知れない才能を実感した出来事でした。(^^)
It was an event that made me realize the immense talent of cats.
「あたちみょ、みょきゅてきをたっしぇいしゅゆみゃで、きぇっしてあきりゃみぇにゃいよ
（私も、目的を達成するまで、決して諦めないよ）」
"I will never give up until I achieve my goal."
「確かに、そうだね。君は、根性があるからな」 (^^)
"That's true. You have guts."
