God is the Center of the Family
God created the family and children are a gift from Him. In fact, this verse says that offspring are a reward from Him! Because of this, God cares about how children are raised and nurtured.
神様は家族と子供達を私達へのギフトとして造られました。実際に聖書の箇所にも子供達は神様からの贈り物であり、報いと書かれています。だからこそ、子供達に何が与えられ、どのように育てられているかを気にかけています。
God wants parents to teach their children about Him—to leave God’s wisdom as an inheritance. God specifically commanded the Israelites to teach their children all He had done for them. He wanted the future generations to have the greatest inheritance—godly wisdom! When parents fail in this crucial assignment, society quickly declines.
神様は親に神様の知恵を子供達に伝えて欲しいと願っています。神様はイスラエル人に神様が彼らのためにやってきた事を子供達に伝承していくことを命令しました。何故なら、将来の世代に神の知恵を身につけてほしかったからです。親がこの事をしないとき、社会が崩れてしまいます。
The Bible is clear that children are to be looked upon as a blessing, not an inconvenience. They are a reward from God! Solomon could never have made this statement without verses 1-2 in this psalm. “Unless God builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.” Unless God builds your family, you build it in vain.
聖書では子供達は祝福として見上げられるべき存在だとハッキリ語っています。見下げられる都合の悪い存在ではないのです。
You may work frantically to get the kids to every activity or spend countless hours educating them, but if God is not the center, you labor in vain. Unless God is at the center of your family unit, the family is adrift.
子供達のクラブ活動や勉強の為に必死に働いたり教育するのに時間を費やすかもしれません。でも、神様が家族の中心にいなければ、その苦労は実を結びません。でも神様が中心ならば
Whether your quiver has one or 20, seek to center your family on God and His wisdom. You will not be put to shame.
