今回のブログでは、お教室在籍のインストラクターの先生方と、アドバンスクラス在籍の方たちの有志の方で、ハワイ研修旅行に行ってきた時のお話をしたいと思います🌈
🌺2023年10月 ハワイ研修旅行🌺
Kuhai Halau（クーハイハラウ）のホームであるKane'ohe（カネオヘ）のHe'eia（ヘエイア）は、山から海にかけての一帯の地区を、Lehuaのご先祖さまが代々護ってこられた場所です。
そして、今回のフラワークショップは、90歳を超えるLehuaのお母様が、今なおこの地区の長として、代表を務められている地元コミュニティーの支援で活動している農業復興プロジェクトの非営利団体"Kāko‘o ‘Ōiwi, Māhuahua ‘Ai O Hoi"で、開催されました。
この土地には、沢山の神話が残されています。
その場所のこと、その場所の神話のお話、神話に登場する神々のお話、Lehuaの先祖のお話....
習ったhulaは、全てそれらに関係する曲です。
hulaを通して、hawaiiの文化や歴史を学びます。
今回も、沢山の"リアル ハワイ"を学びました。
Lehuaは、エンターテイナーである前に、文化継承者です。
そして、Hulaは、エンターテイメントである前に、文化です。
またみんなでハワイ研修旅行行きたいですね☺️🌺

He'eia in Kane'ohe, home of the Kuhai Halau, is an area that stretches from the mountains to the sea and has been protected by Lehua's ancestors for generations.
This time's hula lesson was held at "Kāko‘o ‘Ōiwi, Māhuahua ‘Ai O Hoi'," a non-profit organization working on an agricultural recovery project that supports local communities. Lehua's mother, who is over 90 years old, serves as the facility's representative.
This land has many myths.
Stories about the place, stories about the myths of the place, stories about the gods that appear in the myths, stories about Lehua's ancestors...
The hula we learned are all related to these.
We learn about Hawaii's culture and history through hula.
We learned a lot about "Real Hawaii" this time as well.
Lehua is more than an entertainer, he is a cultural inheritor.
And before Hula is entertainment, it is culture.
