The Indonesian government says it’s banning social media for children under 16. The country joins others around the world moving to limit children’s access.
Communication and Digital Affairs Ministry Meutya Hafid outlined概要を述べる the regulation on Friday. She said the measure措置 will prevent children from having accounts on what she called "high-risk platforms."
The ministry defines targeted対象とする sites as those that enable interactionやり取り between users and allow them to upload content. Operators are required to deactivate accounts belonging to underage users.

Governments are increasingly tightening restrictions on children’s social media use. Australia introduced a blanket ban late last year. Denmark and Malaysia are considering similar steps.
