昨日、バクー世界選手権は大会最終日を迎えて男女混合団体戦を行い、
おかげさまで日本チームは連覇を果たすことができました。
これでバクー世界選手権の全日程が終了、大会は閉幕しました。
今大会も日本代表チームへ沢山の御声援をいただきました。

この夏は、8月29〜9月1日に行われたジャカルタ・アジア大会から
大会月間ともいうべき1カ月を送ってきました。
この二つの大会を終えた今、多くの成果を得た実感がある一方、
非常に強い危機感を覚えています。
両大会ともに厳しい戦いになることは予想していましたが、
各国は2020年東京五輪へ向け、
したたかに強化を進めていることを実感しています。
アジア大会、そして世界選手権の結果と試合内容については、
早急に精査、分析を進め、次につなげていきたいと考えています。
これからも日本代表への応援をどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

Yesterday, the mixed team matches were held, marking the last day of the Baku World Championships.
Thanks to your support, we were able to hold several successive wins.
As the last of the matches have finished, the Baku World Championships has come to a close.
Once again, we received a lot of support from everyone for this tournament.
I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

With the Jakarta Asian Games held from August 29th to September 1st,
we have dedicated this entire month to tournaments.
After seeing the results of both tournaments, I was left with a feeling of great success,
but was also made aware of just how tough future opponents may be.
I expected difficult matches in both tournaments, but it was clear to me that each country’s athletes are getting stronger and stronger, determined to produce results in the 2020 Olympics.
I want to take what we’ve learned in the Asian Games and World Championships and apply it to future training and matches.
I hope you all continue to support the Japan team.
