It started with lunch under the guard of the Metropolitan Expressway in Ginza.
I had heard from the concierge of a certain hotel
First visit to a recommended restaurant. From the outside, you would never guess
A stylish and relaxing space
I could never imagine from the outside. Although the restaurant claims to be "farm-raised," the sparkling fish was as good as natural ones.
but the sparkling fish were as good as natural ones.
I slowly savored and ate up all of it.
We headed for the Hakuhinkan Theater, the main attraction of the day.
The play was written and directed by a popular writer, Satoru Okamoto, whom I know well,
The first performance of "Satoru-za," based on a book written and directed by a popular writer I know, Satoru Okamoto. I was looking forward to seeing how the play would be presented, as all the books published by the company are excellent.
I was looking forward to seeing how it would be expressed in a play,
The humor was also incorporated throughout the play, which kept us smiling until the very end.
After the play, we moved to Tamachi for a drink. This izakaya serves seasonal Tsushima ingredients. This is also an elegant space with a deep bar counter. The smiling waitress wipes away the tension of visitors. The menu is full of sea eel, which is in season now, and all the other dishes are delicious and hard to choose one over the other. The barley shochu from Tsushima was an excellent accompaniment.
Not far from the restaurant, the orange illumination of the Tokyo Tower warmly enveloped our intoxicated bodies.
The day that we had enjoyed by fully utilizing all of our senses came to an end before we knew it.
