「東京パラリンピック閉会式」に映像出演にて参加しました。映ったのは一瞬でしたが、閉会式最後の合唱「What a wonderful world」を自宅での事前収録によって歌っています。
コロナ禍になる前、とある方のご自宅で夕食を頂いていた時、ある事をきっかけに彼から「東京 2020 パラリンピック競技大会開会式、閉会式出演キャスト オーディション募集要項」への応募を勧められて応募致しました。

I participated in the "Tokyo Paralympic Closing Ceremony" with a video appearance. It was reflected for a moment, but the final chorus of the closing ceremony, "What a wonderful world," was sung by pre-recording at home.
Before the COVID-19 Pandemic, when I was having dinner at my friend's home, He recommended me to apply for the "Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony Cast Audition Application Guidelines". I applied for it.
5,000人もの応募の中、書類選考及び実技を含めた面接をパスしてリーディングキャスト枠にて合格。しかし最終的には新型コロナウィルス感染症の状況を鑑み、一部のパフォーマーは映像での参加となり、残念ながら私は会場内でのパフォーマーには選出されず、映像参加での配役となりました。
After applying, I passed the document screening and the interview including practical skills and passed as the reading cast. However, in the end, in view of the situation of the new coronavirus infection, some performers participated in the video, and I also decided to cast in the video.
私の場合見た目では全く分からないですが、障害があっても偏見なく、誰もが活躍できる社会が理想かと思います。また、事故等で何らかの障害を負う人がいる様に、人生の中で大きな困難に遭う事は誰でもあると思います。当たり前の生活ができなくなった時期に、命の尊さ・人生・家族や友達に会える事・生きている素晴らしさを心の底から実感し、涙が溢れて止まりませんでした。
In my case, don't know what kind of obstacle it looks like who look at me. But I think the ideal society is one in which everyone can play an active role without prejudice even if they have a handicap.
Also, I think that everyone will have great difficulties in their lives, just as some people have some kind of disability due to an accident. When I couldn't live a normal life, I realized from my heart the preciousness of life, life, meeting family and friends, and the wonderfulness of living, and I couldn't stop crying.
障害のあるなしに関わらず、アスリートの様に目の前にある事に全力で取り組む姿の美しさもまた同じ。コロナ禍で大変な時代だけれど、これからもハンドパンを楽しみながら頑張って行こうと思います。せっかくなので、会場内でのハンドパン演奏で参加したかったのですが、何らかの形でパラリンピックに関われた事は良かったと思います。
The beauty of work hard on something, with or without disabilities, is also the same. It's a difficult time due to the COVID-19, But I will continue to do my best while enjoying handpan. I wanted to participate in the event with handpan. It was very disappointing that could not enter venue. But I think it was good that I was involved in the Paralympics in some way.
