Our practice is located in Joto, Kofu city.
The clinic is along Kumano-dori street.
There are two rows of dogwood along side the road and bloom is very beautiful in the spring.
You can find our clinic easily, because there is a Seven-Eleven next-door,
and we have a lime-colored billboard and sign.
We opened our clinic in May, 2010.
We have the most up-to-date facilities, equipment, and experience.

Dr. Norio Terada, D.M.D., ph.D.
Dr. Terada graduated from dental school in 2001, after graduate school in 2005, he received his dental training at Tsurumi University 2001-2005, and Nippon Kokan Hospital in Kanagawa 2005-2010.
His expertise is in general dentistry (especially prosthetic dentistry) and cosmetic dentistry.
He is studying technical English in the field of dental treatment.
He has an intermediate level command of the English language.
Dr. Atsushi Tsuge, D.M.D., specialist of orthodontics
Dr. Tsuge comes to our clinic once a month, and takes charge of orthodontic treatment for children and adults.

Dr. Terada's English isn't fluent and his staff can not speak English at all.
We will try our best to speak in English to you.

最近、美容院さん向けの歯のホワイトニングシステムが
徐々に普及しつつあるようです
インターネットで検索すると、
「メタリン酸ナトリウム」と「LED照射器」を
併用したシステムのようです
メタリン酸ナトリウムは歯磨き粉の研磨剤成分で
それ自体には歯を白くする化学的な作用は
ないと思われます
研磨剤で磨くことによる着色の除去のことを
「ホワイトニング」と称しているようです
だとすると、光照射器で温めることには
あまり意味がないように思えますが・・・
白くなったとしても、よほどの着色でない限り
写真で比較して評価できるほどではないと思います
また、日常の歯磨きでない歯口清掃をおこなうことは
違法行為である可能性もあります

歯科医院のホワイトニングは違います
歯科医院でおこなうホワイトニングは
着色除去と漂白になります
漂白は、歯の元々持っている色や外来性の色素を
脱色して白くするものです
使用する薬剤は、過酸化水素か
過酸化尿素で、歯科医師にしか扱えません
また、当院では施術前後で歯の色調を写真に撮影して
どのくらい白くなったか確認していただけます
副作用として、まれに一時的な知覚過敏を
生じることがありますが、ほとんどの場合
軽度です
また、歯の表面にわずかに影響を及ぼしますが
再石灰化によりすぐに元に戻ります
ホワイトニングに限らず、ダイエットや
健康食品、脱毛など巷にはかなりグレーな
表現が横行しています
商売のためには致し方ないとは思いますが
自分も気をつけて情報を見極めたいと思います
