お花の不思議をちょくちょく呟くけど・・・
今日も、ちょっと不思議、だけど素敵な話題。（かな？）
ところで、ヒガンバナ、どんなイメージ？
名前からやっぱりお彼岸、お墓？
サラはね、結構、能天気なイメージを持っているんだわ。
Nature has stars and stars of mysteries!!
Cluster Amaryllis (or Red Spider Lily) also has a wonder.
What kind of image do you have about this flower?

ヒガンバナってお空に向かってすっくと！
そ、秋はね、お空がきれいな日が多くて、結弦ブルーのお空に真っ赤なヒガンバナ
な～んか素敵でしょ？
ってかね、天を仰いで、すくすくと真っすぐって、健気でかわゆくない？
「曼殊沙華（Manjusaka)」って、天空のお花って意味もあるようで
だから、故郷のお空を眺めているのかもね。
Since, they always looking up the sky!
In Autumn, the sky is often quite hight,
Well, under the beautiful Yuzu-blue sky, shining red flowers,
oh, looks lovely, doesn't it?
This flower's Japanese name came from India,
it was called "manjusaka" means a flower in the heaven.
Oh, they are looking up the heaven, missing their birth place?
でね、いつも不思議に思っているの。
だってね、ヒガンバナは球根から育っているじゃない。
だから「種」は不要？
あ、でもユリも球根だけどしっかと「種」ができるし、「種」からも育つよね。
Then its mystery.
You see, they have many flowers, but they don't bear any seeds.
They got bulbs, no need to have seeds.
But, for example, Lilies, they also got bulbs but also they have seeds,
from both, bulbs and seeds, they can grow.
でもね、ヒガンバナ（三倍体）は「種」ができないんだわ。
でさ、お花ってね、「種」を作るために咲くわけでしょ？
ヒガンバナこんなに立派なお花を咲かせて、しかもしっかり雄しべもめしべもあるし、
蜜も持っていて、虫さん、いらっしゃ～い！って歓迎するのよ。
なのに・・・「種」を作らない！
But, Cluster Amaryllis, they have flower, stamens, pistil and even honey, but since they are triploid, so they can't have seeds.
Plants have flowers to bear seeds, but why Cluster Amaryllis has flowers?
With honey, they welcome insects for what?
なんて不思議なって思っているわけ。
で、なんと寛大なって、感心するのよ。
流石天空のお花！
自分のためじゃなく虫さんに蜜の幸せをおすそ分け・・・・
Really, mysterious.
And also admires them!
