We have now less than a month to go until the event. The World’s King of Chef’s Summit Awajishima, is the official supporting food program of the G20. Over a course of 3 days, chefs from 20 countries will come together to compete in a cooking competition. Together, a forum designed to support future progression will also be held. The SDGs, Sustainable Development Goals, consists of 17 goals, 12 of which are related to food. As someone who is deeply involved in food, I felt the strong need to be well-involved in this venture. In this event, the concept of “safe and secure food” as well as “food and international exchange”, where the power of food connecting health to happiness, is widely disseminated worldwide from Awajishima by Nambu CEO of Pasona Group Inc.. The event is to be held from the 23rd to the 26th of June. It is not only a great honor to have this event in Japan, but it is also an honor to be appointed as the official coordination producer of the competition. I will put in my all and strive to make the G20 World Food Competition a great summit.
