"A New Tooth"

「Start with English Readers」(Oxford)

Hi there,

"A New Tooth" is an English book that I bought

spontaneously for the first time.

I went to Kinokuniya Books at the age of 20 or so.

I was a little nervous then, because I had never been to

such a big foreign books area.

Why did I choose this book?

The reason is that an English teacher advised me

to choose books that are easy to read.

It is important for beginners to experience

"finishing reading English books" as many as possible.

I believe it was very effective for me.

Take "A New Tooth", for example.

In this book, basic expressions are repeated as follows:

"This is my desk. This is your desk. This is your chair."

This book has only 18 pages altogether, with many pictures.

That's why I could finish reading without stress & anxiety

at that time!!

Hope this article will be a tip for you even if only slightly. :-)

Good night,

Mark
