２つのクルーズ旅行
（１）昨年2023年9月中旬〜12月初旬の77日間と
（２）今年2024年3月末〜5月末の60日間の
２つのクルーズ旅行を計画し実行してきました。
本投稿は、上記（１）77日間のクルーズの一コマについてお伝えします。

バンパーカーにトライ
昨夜は、変幻自在のシアター"Tow70"で、『シルクロード』というミュージカルショーを堪能しました。その余韻は、一夜明けても未だ継続中です。
今日もシーディなので、船内のアクティビティを楽しむことにしました。
そこで、会場オープン中は何度でも、無料で利用可能という、『バンパーカー』にトライしました。
バンパーカーとは
ご存知の通り、周囲が柔らかいバンパーで覆われた車で、下記の写真（Pic.01〜04）をご覧になれば「昔懐かしい遊園地のあの乗り物」とピンと来るのではないかと思います。
ぐるぐると好き勝手に走ったり、他のバンパーカーとぶつけ合うのが楽しい遊園地の定番アトラクションです。
危険防止のため、ある国では他の車にぶつかるのを禁止しているそうですが、スぺクトラムオブザシーズでは、自分の思い通りに好き勝手に乗りこなすことができます。

Two cruise trips
(1) 77 days from mid-September to early December 2023 last year
(2) 60 days from the end of March to the end of May 2024 this year
We have planned and carried out two cruise trips.
This post will tell you about one moment from the 77-day cruise mentioned above (1).
Try Bumper Cars
Last night, we enjoyed the musical show called "Silk Road" at the ever-changing theater "Tow70". The afterglow is still lingering even after a night has passed.
Today is also sea day, so we decided to enjoy some activities on the ship.
So we tried out the "Bumper Cars", which can be used for free as many times as we like while the venue is open.
What is bumper car?
It is a classic amusement park attraction where we can enjoy running around in circles as we please and bumping into other bumper cars.

一度に10台程度の運用となっています。

ぶつからない様にすり抜けながら運転するのがコツです。
The trick is to drive while slipping through to avoid bumping into them.

ぶつかると、体勢を元に戻すのに手間取り、乗車時間が少なくなってしまいます。
When cars collide with each other, it takes time to get back into position and ride time is reduced.

バンパーカー運転のコツ
自分の思い通りに好き勝手に運転できるとは言え、他の車にぶつかると、体勢を元に戻すのに手間取り、乗車時間が少なくなってしまいます。
長く乗るためには、逆に、ぶつからない様にすり抜けながら運転するのがコツです。
これがまた、とても面白いのです。
ハンドル操作が意外と難しいため、思い通りに運転できません。したがって、周囲の車が意図せずぶつかって来ます。これをすり抜ける様に運転しなければなりません。
スタッフは状況を良く見ています
バンパーカーの担当スタッフは、状況を見ながら運行時間調整をしています。
ぶつかる車が多くて、体勢回復に手間取ったり、スタッフが援助したりして、もたもたしている場合は、少し時間を延長している様です。
その乗車時間は、5〜10分となっている様です。
この歳になっても とても面白かった！
利用者数が少ない時は、何度でも待ち行列に並んで、何度でも利用することができます。私も何度も乗ってしまいました。
老若男女、誰でも利用できますので、とても評判が良い様です。ですから、他のクルーズ会社でも、新造船する場合、このアトラクションを設置する船が増えています。
Driving Tips for Bumper Cars
Although we can drive as we wish, if we hit another car, it will take time to regain our stance and our driving time will be shortened.
The trick to a longer ride is, on the contrary, to drive while slipping through to avoid hitting other cars.
This is also very interesting.
Because the steering wheel is surprisingly difficult to control, we cannot drive as we wish. Therefore, cars around we will bump into we unintentionally. We have to drive in such a way that we can slip past them.
Even at my age, it was a lot of fun!
When there are few participants, you can queue and ride as many times as you like. I have ridden it many times myself.
It seems to be very popular because it can be used by anyone, regardless of age or gender. That's why other cruise companies are also installing this attraction on more and more of their new ships.

メインダイニングへ移動
そうこうしている内に、丁度夕食の時間となりました。
今夜もチョイスするメニューは前もって決めています。
オーダーに時間がかかりますと、食べ終わる時間も遅くなってしまいます。
夕食後の時間を楽しく有効に使うためには、ウエイターへの素早いメニューの伝達が重要だと、私たちは日頃から思っています。
毎日のメニューは、船内アプリに公開されていますので、とても便利です。
また、私たちは、好みが似通っているため、チョイスするメニューは期せずして、いつも同じです。
ウエイターもキッチンでピックアップする手間が省けますので、ウエイターには、とても喜ばれています。

We have already decided in advance what to choose for tonight.
The daily menu is published on the onboard app, which is very convenient.

注）バラムンディ（または バラマンディ）とは

ベイクト・アラスカ
Baked Alaska
注）ベイクト・アラスカ とは
アイスクリームの周りにケーキ生地をのせてメレンゲで覆い、焼き目をつけたケーキです。
クッキングバーナーでメレンゲに焼き目を付ける時、メレンゲを包む青い炎が、まるでアラスカのオーロラのようであることから名付けられたとされています。
Note: What is Baked Alaska?
Baked Alaska is a cake made by covering ice cream with cake batter, covering it with meringue, and baking it.
It is said that the name “Baked Alaska” comes from the blue flame that surrounds the meringue when it is baked on a cooking burner, which resembles the northern lights of Alaska.
