bar1-9 : Dear, if you wish my dying,
             In vain your wish redounds, in vain your prayer.

bar9-15 : For can he die that breathes not vital air?

bar15-22 : Then with those eyes that slew me,
                 New life infusing, renew me;

bar22-37 : So shall we both obtain our wishèd pleasure,
                 You my death joying, and I my life’s sweet treasure.
