Today’s image is NIKU UDON, beef and white noodle at a local diner. 😋 This is my favorite and I think it is a local food here, Osaka area.😆 Many noodle restaurants serve the food, but less are there my favorite taste. Many of them serve sweetly tasted beef on noodles, but I like a simple taste of beef, simmered with just a simple UMAMI UDON soup.
I think you will enjoy the local Japanese dinar's atmosphere.
You can see the interesting menu. It is written by calligraphy and the price with Chinses characters.
I guess you might feel afraid that you jump into the kind of diners if you do not speak Japanese. But remember that they are so kind, including customers eating there. They would help you order what you want to eat, using their gesture and their English they can speak as possible.
I hope you will dive into this type of restaurant to experience real Japan.

今日は、ある食堂の肉うどん！なかなか私好みの味の肉うどんが見つからなかったけれど、ここは私好みでした！ 肉うどんは関西のソールフードです。お店によっては、お肉を甘辛く炊いて上に乗っけているのですが、私好みの味は、そのうどんの出汁だけで炊いたもの。凝ったことはしなくていい、その出汁で炊いてくれ～と毎回思っていましたがやっとこさ、好みの味に巡り逢いました～♬
これも個人の好みで、小さいころに食べた味がそうだったからに違いありません。そして関西で肉といえば、牛肉。だから肉うどんは牛肉が入ってなくてはだめなのです。
お店もノスタルジックな感じでタイムスリップしたようでした。しかし店員さんは、皆さん、若者でした～(笑)それだけはイメージとちがった。(笑)
