The other day, I don't know why I talked with my Language Exchange partner about Okinawa.

But we I talked about...

Many artist were born in Okinawa.

There are no trains.(Recently there completed one line.)

So, the pub doesn't close because people can't go back to their house.

Many people drink too much.

There are really surrounded by so such a beautiful sea.

But surprisely many people can't swim. etc...

It seems that Okinawa is has the highest rates of people who can't swim in Japan.

It's a wonder! There are so much beautiful sea everywhere in Okinawa!!!

There are high waves, fast flowing, sometimes typhoon makes big trouble.
So, it seems like that Okinawa people used to be afraid of the sea before.

It's been a while since I visited Okinawa. I want to see beautiful sea again.

この前、パートナーと何故か沖縄県の話になりました。

沖縄って、たくさんのアーティストが生まれたんだよねー。

電車がないんだよー。（つい最近電車が１つできました）

だから、居酒屋はみんなが帰れないからお店はずっと閉まらないんだよー。

酒飲みの人が多いよー。

すごいきれいな海に囲まれた県なんだよねー。

でも泳げない人が多いんだよねー。　とか。

「泳げない人」の割合が全国でもっとも高いのは沖縄県だそうです。
不思議ですよねー。沖縄はこんなにもきれいな海が目の前にあるのに！！！

沖縄の海は波が高く、流れが速く、ときどき台風がトラブルを引き起こすから。
沖縄の人にとって、海は恐ろしい存在だったようです。

久しぶりにきれいな沖縄の海が見たくなりました。

After then, I could understand that there were fire everywhere at Kobe and many people trapped under building. And also I knew the expressway was broken in half and falled fell.

But I think people were great that they try reconstructing their town and helping each other at this time. As a resault, people regain beautiful Kobe town.

Luminarie is a light festival held in Kobe, every December since 1995 and to pray memorial and reconstruction after the Great Hanshin earthquake of that year. This year held on 2nd through 13th December. The design of decoration has changed every year. I wonder if I would will go to see there it this year.

その結果、素晴らしい神戸の街を取り戻しました。

地震があった年に、追悼と復興を祈り、神戸に明かりを灯そうと始まったルミナリエ 。

今年は１２月２～１３日まで開催です。毎年デザインが変わります。今年は見に行ってみようかな。

地震(Jishin) (1) / Earthquake(1)

Today, the earthquake occurred when I was doing Language Exchange with my partner, I lost a little of my self-control. It measured 3 on JMA magnitude scale in Tokyo.

According to the dictionary, earthquake means "shaking and vibration at the surface of the earth resulting from underground movement along a fault plane of from volcanic activity ".

... there are many is a lot of volcanic activity in Japan, so that It is often an earthquaqe earthquakes often occur .

I have an experience which is the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995 so that I am afraid of earthquakes whatever whenever it is a small one.

The Great Hanshin Earthquake occurred in the early in the morning. I remember the big sound "Goo" like a dinosaur and also it felt horizontal oscillation and swinging from the bottom end I had never experienced before.

The funiture falled fell. I felt fear that I couldn't help waiting because I couldn't move anyting until it had stopped.We couldn't use a telephone, electricity, water , public transport in a while. It was really terrible. I couldn't find that my relatives and friends are safe, what happened the situation aroud me.

今日はLanguage Exchange 中に地震があり、ちょっと取り乱してしまいました。東京は震度３でした。

辞書によると、地震は"火山活動により断層面に沿った地下運動によって、地球の表面が揺れて震動すること

1995年の阪神淡路大震災 を経験したので、どんな小さな揺れでも地震が起きるたびに恐いです。

阪神淡路大震災は、早朝に起こりました。

恐竜の鳴き声のようなゴーという音と今まで経験したことのない突きあげるような揺れと横揺れ。

家具が倒れたりする中、恐怖で動けず何もできませんでした。

しばらく電話も電気も水道、交通機関も使えず、本当に困りました。

親戚や友人たちが無事なのか、何が起こったのかも分からない状況でした。
