As some of you may know, yesterday, 22 November, is nicknamed 'Good Married Couple Day' in Japan after its phonetic similarity to pronunciation of the month and date in Japanese.
Although it's been a while since the last upload of my English related article, I'd like to take this opportunity to express the hearty gratitude to my beloved better half.
English sometimes comes in handy in the occasion like this when I'm too embarrassed to reveal my true feeling. :)

Today, I looked back and asked myself if I've been a 'Good' husband to you for the last 12 years of our marriage.
Of course I know I'm not yet 'Good' enough, but I hope at least I have become 'Better' husband than I was 12 years ago, and I owe you a lot for that.
People often say "married couple with different values doesn't last long", but this is not the case with us at all. I don't believe in everything you believe, and you aren't interested in everything I'm interested, but our marriage has stood the test of time so far.
At some point of our marriage, I learnt from you that these different values would turn into fun, inspiration and excitement as long as we respect each other's values. You always make me realise something that I haven't even noticed, and give me a huge growing opportunity. I'm now enjoying my super-stimulating marriage life very much, and no other women could have brought it to me but you.
Since I started my new job in October, I have sacrificed considerable time with my family. I feel terribly bad that I cannot spend coming Christmas with you due to my overseas trip. I want you to know how grateful I am that you let me pursue my career and will promise to fully devote my heart to you once I get control over the current project.
Oh, I need to answer the question you asked me recently.
Don't worry, I would save your life with all my might and never let your hand go even if I fell with you.
I can swear it over and over again: my love to you is always, and will be forever, unconditional.
