Good afternoon to our Readers!!
How are you doing? The weather seems to be getting hotter and hotter each day. Rainy season is just around the corner.
On Saturday, May 27th, the Happy Hikers set out on a new course within the Rokko Mountains. The weather was perfect- sunny and occasional cloud with highs of 23 degrees and a nice cool breeze. 10 people joined our hike today. Here are some pictures from our day.
From Ichigahara, we hiked a little further to the North until we came across the path for Tengûdō. I'm still not sure why it was given this name. If you know, please teach me next lesson!!
Our first group shot of the day!!
Whoa, that's a beautiful blue sky. PERFECT weather!!!!
This next photo was taken from one of the best viewpoints along Tengûdō. Look at the sensational landscape!!
Time for another group shot of our awesome members!!
Some hydrangea were just starting to bloom.
At the top of Mt. Maya, the guys had a little 'refreshment' break.
Did I tell you that this was MY mountain??
On the way back, we stopped an enjoyed some green tea at the Kobe Kankō Chaen near Aotani. I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area.
Mmm... Matcha lattè with sweet bean cakes.
Here's the whole "family" for our final group shot of the day.
Thank you to our members for joining us on our hike today. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
If anyone else would like to join us next time, please talk to me!!!
Have a great week!!
