I would like to post dishes I ate from year-end to new-year.
Fried oysters my wife cooked. The sales person of the life insurance company who are in charge of my family and me gave us the oysters. I changed my insurance plan last year from generous plan to minimum plan because of my life stage. I had needed to ensure enough money for my family if I died. However, my daughter have already grown up. I don't need to secure much money for them any more.
Saving is saving, insurance is insurance. You don't have to be deceived by advertised talking that aims to make you worry about your life.
By the way, this is my first activity of oyster expedition in this year.

A crab hot pot cuisine.
This crab is the return gift of local tax contribution of my daughter. I never try local tax contribution yet. Recent young people like my daughter have financial knowledge more than me. She has already started Tsumitate NISA investment plan as well. I know I have to learn the system and the procedure to start local tax contribution and Tsumitate NISA investment plan this year. I declair that I will start Tsumitate NISA investment plan this year. This is my 2024 objective.
Anyway, the crab hot hot was really good. Thank you my daughter.

Kazunoko, it is called herring roe in English. A tradition that we eat herring roe in new year is still remained.
栗きんとん
Mashed sweet potato and sweetened chestnut (Kurikinton).
お雑煮。色々なスタイルが地方によってありますが、割とスタンダードタイプ。今年はおせちはありませんでした。
Zoni, Japanese traditional soup with vegetables and chicken for new year. Zoni style is varied in a region. I think zoni style in my family is the most common. We didn't have any Osechi this year. We don't need any more.
韓国おにぎり チュモッパ
Chumoppa, Korean style rice ball. Do you know that?
I didn't know it at all. My wife cooked us them. It was very good.
伊賀牛のすき焼き。伊賀牛はすき焼きに合うんですよ。
Sukiyaki.
We visited my wife's parents' house. They serve us sukiyaki every new year, and served this year as well. Iga beef is well known that it is suitable for sukiyaki. Its good flavor and sweet oil is very good.
