This year amazingly there's almost 2 weeks of yr end hol.

From 17 dec to 31st dec.

BUT OUT OF NO WHERE,

i have a managerial econs lesson on 22nd.

means i have to miss a lesson. @_@

so apprehensive to the idea of ponning lesson this yr,

and im so proud to say, i didnt skip any these 5 weeks!

Its a feat okay :D

We were the first ones to arrive!

So we had the chef to ourself for the first 10 mins or so before another group of 4 came.

Banzai :D!

There're only seats for ard 10 in this cozy Izakaya-looking bar,

and a private room for 6 on tatami mats.

The chef's sushi making skills are decently good,

Bite-size mouthful portions and the rice is firm (:

but he's very very shy.. lol

some sushi were served from kikuzawa-san himself,
but mostly it's this shy chef xD

we were immediately served edamame and hot green tea

Appetizer was tofu with daikon, sea cucumber and chicken bits,

in a light chicken broth which i didnt drink..

Tuna, whitefish, ika and salmon :3
the tuna wasnt very fresh, it had a metallic aftertaste,

but the rest were sweet

Saba (mackerel), ika (squid), unagi (eel) and seared salmon

the menu was decided by the chef,

so we didnt go flipping the menu deciding wad to eat,

but there's an anticipation of wads going to come nxt :D

i waited for all 4 of mine to come..

Darren ate his sushi as soon as they arrive :x

it has no chewyness but a sweet and powdery softness (Y)

if i didnt ask what this was i would have put this innocent looking sushi

str8 into my mouth without thinking!

But its FUGU! Puffer fish desu! countless died from eating this ok,

if its nt treated properly its poison is lethal >.<!!

*squirms at the thought of dying while eating sushi*

phew i was alright after 5 mins :D... its nice actually.

no wonder so many risk their lives for this.
