Kimono!!

I went to my good friend's wedding today.

I wore this beautiful kimono that I love.

I love wearing a kimono. I wish I could wear one everyday!

This kimono was given to me from my grandmother who really loves kimonos.

She has so many different kinds of kimonos.

Each kimono usually have an obi, nagajiban which you wear inside of kimono,

sandals and a bag to go with to match the color.

Kimonos are one of the things that I love and admire about Japanese culture.

So any chance I could wear kimono, I love to wear one.

Today, I got my hair done by my friend, Koderasan.

I like how he did my hair. It's really different and fun!





今日は私のお友達の結婚式。

私の大好きな、美しい着物を着ての結婚式。わくわくです！

着物を着るのって、大好き！！　　本当、毎日でも着たいぐらい。

今日着た着物は、着物が大好きな私のお婆ちゃんからのプレゼント。

お婆ちゃんは幾つもの着物を持っていて、私はそれを見ながらいつもうっとりしちゃうの。

着物には、その着物の色に合う帯と長じばんと草履とバッグがあって。

それこそ揃えるのが大変だけど、全てを一つの物に統一させるというのは、日本！って感じがします。

日本の文化の中でも私が大好きで感心するのが、着物。

だからこそ、チャンスがあればいつでも、何度でも着たいのが着物。

まず始めに髪の毛！

今日は、お友達の小寺さんにセットをしてもらいました。

さすが、小寺さん。ユニークで素敵な髪型に仕上げて下さいました。

This is the nagajiban, a beautiful red.

これが、長じばん。美しい赤！





I love this piece so much that I want to wear it and go out!

私はこの長じばんが大好きで、もうこれだけで着たいぐらい！！


I believe this flower is called Tsubaki.

A beautiful flower which has an oil to make your hair silky and smooth.





椿のお花柄。

ちなみに私は椿油を以前撮影前に髪を奇麗にしようと思って、髪の毛全体につけてしまい

ベトベトになってしまいました。。



I got my obi in Kawarimusubi today. There are many different ways to tie your obi.

今日の帯は、変わり結び。　帯の締め方にも色々あって、本当着物は奥が深い！


Finally everything is done!

全て終わりました！






When I went to the wedding, I saw a Japanese traditional style of the wedding for the first

time in my life. It was breathtaking...

結婚式に行ったら日本式の神殿で行われていて、初めて私はこの日本式の結婚式を見たのですが

もうあまりにの美しさにため息が。。





My friend had a Japanese style wedding at first then she changed her wear two times after

that for the party.

日本式の挙式の後には、お色直しを二回行い。






In every dress she looked truly beautiful.

She had this glow, a happiness glow from her inside that was more beautiful than her dress.

どのドレスに着替えても、本当に美しくて。

どんなドレスよりも彼女の中身から出てくる輝きの方が輝いていました。






This is my second wedding that I've went to this year.

I love going to a wedding because you can feel the happiness and the love.　

I wish all of you for a lot of love and a happy journey...

私は今年、二回結婚式に参加させて頂きました。

結婚式に幾度に、その場にいるだけで幸せな気分になり愛を感じられて。。
