Hi Daniel,
I've now been officially named head of private sales at the Tokyo branch. I'm humbled by the huge responsibility. Looking back, the three years since I joined WCS has gone by very quickly. I've been blessed to have such wonderful colleagues in Tokyo and I never thought that I'd be able to be involeved in milestone projects at London HQ. -She thinks listening is the most important thing.

-We should take notes on the key points they make.

Finally, you've written so manuy articles in English. What advice would you give to our listerners on how to learn English or regional languages?

-I useally say to my children as well is to be able to listen. Listening is the most important thing when you learn a new language. And you know, I as a child spoke threee languages because Sri Lanka we have three official languages. And I couldn't even read and wirte at that time, you know, but I learned all through listening. So to be able to listen, I know in Japan it's kind of difficult to hear different languages all the time. So how about listening to English tapes a lot? You know, all the time just put your earphones on when you wash the dishes or when you are in the train. Not to read so much, but listen because I think the ear is very imprtant. So listening is I think I would suggest as one very important way of learning another language and also to take memo not to wite a lot, but just take points. So if you meet somebody interesting and you can just take a few points on what they're saying and then you look later on, later at the points and then add to those ponints. So that also makes you learn a language faster, I think, and try to meet as many people as you can. 
-Right. So listening is vital in learning a language. I hope our lsterners will listen to your interview many many times.
