Psalm 46
詩篇 第46篇
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
神はわれらの逃れ場、また力。
苦しむとき、常に助けがある。
Therefore, we will not fear,
even though the earth be removed,
and though the mountains be carried
into the midst of the sea,
だから、われらは恐れない。
たとえ、地は変わり、
山が海の中に移ろうとも。
though its waters roar and be
troubled, though the mountains
shake with its swelling.
たとえ、その水が立ち騒ぎ、
あわだっても、その水かさが
増して山々が揺れ動いても。
There's a river whose streams shall make glad the City of God, the holy place of the Tabernacle of the Most High.
川がある。その流れは、
いと高き方の聖なる住まい、
尊い神の都を喜ばせる。
God is in the midst of her. She shall not be moved. God shall help her just at the break of dawn.
神はそのまなかにいて、
その都はゆるがない。
神は夜明け前にこれを助けられる。
The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved. He uttered his voice. The earth melted.
国々は立ち騒ぎ、
諸方の王国は揺らいだ。
神が声を発すると、
地は溶けた。
The Lord of Hosts is with us.
The God of Jacob is our refuge.
万軍の主は
われらとともにおられる。
ヤコブの神はわれらの
とりでである。
Come behold the works of the Lord who has made desolations in the Earth.
来て、主のみわざを見よ。
主は地に荒廃をもたらされた。
He makes wars cease to the ends of the Earth. He breaks the bough and cuts the spear in two. He burns the chariot in fire.
主は地の果てまでも戦いをやめさせ、弓をへし折り、槍を断ち切り、戦車を火で焼かれた。
"Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the Earths."
「やめよ。わたしこそ神であることを知れ。わたしは国々の間であがめられ、地の上であがめられる」
The Lord of Hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge.
万軍の主はわれらとともにおられる。ヤコブの神はわれらのとりでである。
