I said my mother that her best looking funiture deserves better treatments than being stuffed with junk she gave them.
She said that she has been wanting to sell the furniture so I began emptying them by sorting and throwing out their contents.
Then I found this.
Are these 10,000 yen bills?!
Pulling'em out, I soon learned that these are old small currencies for 20,100 yen.
My mother tells me she kept these bills with an expectation to sell for a little profit.
Today, while in Umeda, Osaka, we checked if any of coin and currency dealers would buy them.
None of them like to buy them.
We will deposit them at a bank for face value, if possible.
