We now have OVER 3,000 PEOPLE signed up for the FREE HUGS for WORLD PEACE event on September 21. We have 68 cities!

Ahh, but only one in Japan. Please spread the word and lets get more Japanese cities involved!

Gift from Portugal

I received a gift from one of the guys in Portugal who is working with me on the FREE HUGS for WORLD PEACE event. He sent me a T-shirt. Check it out:

It says, FREE HUGS in Portuguese on the front! On the back it says, "Happy Day, Free Hugs, Peace and Joy."

I'm making lots of friends all around the world. It's pretty awesome...

I went to Moukotanmen Nakamoto ramen shop with my friend, Isozaki-sensei last Saturday.

It's a very famous place, and there is usually a long line. This day was no exception. But it was worth the wait!

Moukotanmen is so spicy, it is almost like torture! Why do so many people like hot, spicy food so much?

十四代　Juu-yon-dai

テーマ：Sake
It had* been a long day.

My boss had asked me what kind of sake I wanted, and so I told him.

He gave me a look.

It had been a long time since we had it.

Did I say something wrong?

You see, a long time ago, I had had the best sake I had ever had, and I wanted to have it again.

Should I have asked for a different sake? Perhaps a less expensive one?

Boss? Are you okay?

But then he smiled.

Thank you, boss!

It really was a nice treat. I hadn't had* Juu-yon-dai in a long time.

*I used the words "have" and "had" a lot--even a double "had" phrase. I've heard that "had" is a word that is quite difficult. Good luck!
