文科省発表の環境放射能水準 Radiation Level in Japan
テーマ：Tips to live in JPN文科省のウエブサイトに、環境放射能水準の調査結果がでています。
多言語対応されていないのが非常に残念ですが、外国人の方がもっとも不安に思われているのは今回の原発事故です。この結果をご友人・知人の方にまわしてください。

たとえば東京都新宿区で
３月１６日１６時から１７時の数値は、０．０５４マイクロシーベルトとの調査結果です。
成田とニューヨークを飛行機で往復すると２００マイクロシーベルトに相当するそうです。その３,７００分の１です。だからいいとは決して申せません。ただ、この情報がすこしでも、情報が不足しているであろう日本語のあまりわからない外国人の方に届くことを祈ってやみません。
東京にお住まいの外国人の方におかれましては、いまの時点において、放射能水準についてむやみに不安におもわれる必要はないのではないかと思いますし、また、この調査結果が多言語で発信されることを願います。
I found this website in the Ministry of Education that shows radiation level in all the prefectures in Japan. Unfortunately these reports are all in Japanese however it is extremely helpful I presume for those who are overwhelmed and devestated by this nuclear power plant news
For example, the report in the above site says that in Shinjuku ward in Tokyo during 16:00 to 17:00 on the 16h of March, the radiation level was 0.054 micro sievert.
I learnt from an expert the other day that people receive 200 micro sievert worth of radioactive ray by flying from Tokyo Narita to NYC and coming back, which is about 3700 times as much as it is now in Shinjuku ward.
I am not saying that therefore it is OK, but I just wish that people in the Tokyo area will receive this kind of information and feel a bit more safe.
I would like the Japanese government to make multi lingual translation for all the reports they will announce.
As of today, those who reside and/or work, study in the Tokyo area, do not need to concern too much about radiation exposure I would like to say.
Nuclear power plant itself has been deactivated. It is Hydrogen explosion that is going on right now. We should be safe unless we go near the plant
I wish people in the Tokyo area feel a bit more safe by this information.
