As part of the acquisition, Option IT will provide many of BNP Paribas hedge fund clients with its technology infrastructure services, which comprises of a fully hosted global business technology infrastructure.
All clients will continue to be BNP Paribas prime brokerage clients and will remain on its prime brokerage platform.
The clients will be seamlessly integrated onto Options IT PIPE, which supports Option IT core solution as well as a full suite of global market data and highfrequency, lowlatency trading infrastructure solutions.
Options IT has also acquired three regional data centers in California, Texas and New Jersey as part of the deal, adding to its 12 existing data centers across the US, the UK, Europe and Asia.
The company has also acquired two regional offices in California and Texas and added IT engineering, management and support staff to its US operations.
Options IT provides technology infrastructure solutions to more than 120 hedge funds, broker/dealers, prop trading firms, fund of funds and private equity firms.
These IaaS solutions range from infrastructure and technology management for essential business operations to lowlatency global connectivity and market data feeds.
