It is freezing for a while in the Netherlands. And the Netherlands is known for its many water so the water became an ice rink. It is probably typical Dutch to iceskate on frozen lakes. I'm totally Dutch, but in my whole life I did iceskate once!
I said this last monday to my Japanese teacher and she said I am a fake Dutch girl! Hahaha!

Saturday was the last day to iceskate on a lot of lakes and ditches, because the ice will melt on Sunday. But in my neighbourhood I found a place (with a mill!) where I don't advice anybody to iceskate:







I don't really have skates, so I have to rent the skates before I can skate. Did you ever skate?
