先日、また新たな不正カード利用を体験したM.S.です。
こちらだと、二重請求とか、銀行の引き落としミスとか、突然値上げされた家賃やケーブルTVの請求書を受けとるとか、本当に日本の常識が通用しない経験を沢山するんですが、アメリカの方はこうして交渉術とか自己主張を学んでいくんですかね。
さて、本日は例によって２本だて。過去の研究レポートとご存知並河さん執筆による、サーバ管理ツールChefの紹介です。
並河さんといえば、来月、めでたく入籍されるそうで、来たる５月の結婚式の祝辞を先日、依頼されました。弊社組織の妻帯率って、おそらく同業の中で飛び抜けて高いのでは
と思いますが、この５月でも週末３組以上の結婚式がある模様。だんだん、福利厚生で「結婚式出席代休」が欲しくなってきました。
そういえば、並河さんの奥様は、私の嫁と同じSEだとか。前の職場が同じということで、知り合ったとのことですが、優秀な方ならぜひうちに紹介して欲しいものです。
紹介料だけでなく、５年たったら家賃補助で１０万(5万x2人)手に入るし、同じチームに所属してもらえば、いつも一緒にいられます。アメーバで発生したトラブルは、きっと並河家の問題として、公私混同して処理してもらえるでしょうから、我々にとっても良いことだらけですね。業務の一環として、祝辞読むときにスカウトしようと思います。

A few weeks ago, someone stole my credit card number and use it. It was not first time for me to experience that accident. Moreover, I have a lot of similar experience like the following.
*One credit company bank charged me twice.
*One Bank missed to withdraw my deposit as monthly fee even if it was free account.
*The apartment owner rise monthly fee more than 200USD without any notice.
*Comcast, famous cable TV company in the U.S. rise monthly fee suddenly.
I negotiated and solved all of these problems. I guess most Americans will learn both negotiation and self-assertion to experience these troubles.
Well...Today's articles are two. The first article is one of the best IT reports which was posted by Watanabe-san. The second is about PC server administration tool 'Chef' written by Namikawa-san. He is famous for IT engineers because of his own technical blog and lecture.
I'm very happy to hear he will get married next month and will hold wedding ceremony next May. I guess our company has the highest marriage rates among Internet Media Companies. A lot of staff's marriages usually ask me to break my weekend holidays, because marriage is usually held on weekend in Japan. I think I can ask our company to give another holiday.
By the way, Namikawa-san's wife is IT engineer now. Two of them worked for the same company a few month ago, and got familiar with each other. If his wife is a smart engineer, I would like for him to help her to move the position to our company. They can earn large consulting fee, and the company will give them about 1200USD housing benefit per one month after five years. Moreover, they can meet and talk with each other if they are at the same team. I have a confidence with a web service system quality improvement, because they will treat these system problems as well as family problems. I just decide to scout her to enter our company at the wedding party.
