I saw a challenge awhile ago to make an accordion card. Since, I wanted to use the new Scallop Square Die from Stampin Up!, I had to make it sized for that. I made a tutorial to go along with it, so y could make one too.
You a sheet of 12 X 12 CS, and you can cut it into 3 of 4 X 12. You will need 2 of them for this tutorial. you want accordion folds, the other one in, but will work with 2. also need the fronts and backs, so I cut out pieces from chipboard from the DSP packs with the scallop square. I also cut the CS to them, but they are not pictured.
You will then score your 4 X 12 pieces at 4 and 8.
You will fold them with hills and valleys, as shown. You are going to be joining them together, like I have them set up in the second picture. The fold with the star on Swiss Replica Watches it need to be cut off. Lay out your CS as pictured, so will make sure to cut the correct one off. When it sits on the table it should be a "W" shape. Now, the size of square your accordion is the perfect size to have the lovely mat behind it from the scallop. Glue square from each end of the accordion to one of the scallop squares.
This is how it should look after you have put it all together. I working on the finished project and will have that up ASAP! Tootles, have fun happy stamping!!
