日帰り出張で、よく行く、中山市小榄はこじんまりとした、かわいい街。
でも、Industrial Townとしての歴史は長く、だから地元、小榄人は裕福な人が多い。
街も綺麗だし、ご飯はおいしいし、マナーもとってもいい。
ロンドンにいた時から、中国出張といえばこの街だったから、アットホームな雰囲気があって、ほっと安心できる場所なのです。
工場長のJUNはいろーんな仕事を転々として、靴の魅力に惹かれた、とっても靴好きなオーナー。
ずーっとパッターンカッターで現場でばりばり働いてきた彼は、そんじょそこらの、「金になるから、靴工場オーナー」みたいな人と全然違う、職人魂あふれる人なのです。
そして、気が合う理由としては、とってもグルメな人。
いつも、出張の旅、小榄のおいしいものを食べさせてくれるのです。
だから、痩せないのかな～・・・・・・・・・。(・・；)
今回の出張メニューはこれ！
鶏丸焼き
車で運転中のときから電話でオーダー。
ついたころには焼きあがってるという手はず。
生きている、鳥を最初、蒸し揚げて、羽を人の手で引きちぎって、炭焼きするのです。
もちろん、頭ついてでてくるので、Visual的に無理な人は、食べれないかも。
通訳のEagleも、気持ち悪がって、あっけなく、頭は切り落とされました。

手袋はめて、肉をつかんで、むしりとった後、かぶりついて食べるのです。
自然にでてくる、油で、口周りはべとべとになりながらも、引きちぎるように、お肉を食べるのです。
とぉーってもWildに。
注！彼氏といくところではありません。
お肉はとっても、弾力があって、走り回ってた生前の鶏を彷彿させます。

皮はカリカリに焼けていて
胸肉の部分もぱさぱさしてない。
塩しかふってないのに、Ｆlavorがある。
「日本のお客さんは、このチキン目当てに、泊りがけ出張で来るんだ！」とJUN．
納得・・・・・。
しかもこれで終わりじゃないんです。

このあまった、臓物を使って、Congee（お粥）を作るのです。
シンプルに、野菜と、ハーブを足して。
このお粥を食べるために、肉をむしって食べたんだと実感。
メニューはなし。鶏だけの食堂です。
お店の名前と場所は次回行った時に、聞いときます！

I am gonna talk about NON fashion topics this time.
Today is about the food, well, Chicken really.
The town called Xiaolan is part of the Zhongxian City where I always go for day business trip.
This town is tiny and very pretty, but town itself has long history of industrial town.
Locals are actually very wealthy. Generally, food are very nice, streets are clean & organised.
The people’s attitude is friendly and has a good manor.
Whenever I had a business trip from London to China equal "Xiaolan town".
So this town is very familiar and makes me feel at home.
Factory Owner JUN is such a charming man who changed job so many times until he met shoes.
He was working as pattern cutter of shoes for long time before he started his own shoe factory.
You can tell he is very experienced and different from many others like “Oh, I started footwear, coz I thought it’s gonna bring me a fortune (Money)” kinda owner.
He has split! And passionate to what he does. And most importantly, LOVE SHOES.
I respect him lots.
One of the reasons I get on well with him, because he is such a gourmet person.
Every time I go there, he takes me amazing restaurant to taste amazing food.
This time was “Grill Chicken”
He ordered on the way to go to place where only serve Chicken. Nothing else apart from drinks.
They catch running around wild chicken, not farm one.
Steamed for while, take off the feathers by hand, grill with charcoal fire.
And ready to eat! Seasoning is salt only. How simple! natural taste of chicken.
Do not pass out when it comes out, it's quite visually grotesque.
God, you are gonna have to try this one day.
The meat is sooooo juicy, with nice texture, crispy skins and just delicious.
Jun told me that his customers particularly request to go this place to eat this chicken on their business trip from all the way from Japan!
No wonder…….
After congee using left over all organs is something you can't miss after meal.
You can see why you ripped off the meet from bone and eat whole chicken for.
Yes, it's to eat this congee.
I will find out the information about this place next time. But if you see some places like that, don’t get scared, just be brave and give a try!
