Mount Takao | James Kenji Harada (原田ジェイムス健治)

James Kenji Harada (原田ジェイムス健治)

This is a blog about the things in my daily life.
I am a Japanese-Canadian living in Ibaraki.

We went to hike up mount Takao on the 2nd of May.  You can take a cable car and a life up part way but we are doing it for exercise so we hiked up all the way from the bottom. It was steeper than you would expect.  It was a nice day so it was very comfortable.  We did Trail 1 going up and Trail 4 going down.  There were some viewpoints on the way up to the top and after the cable car station there are places to eat and get souvenirs.  We just bought drinks and tenguyaki.    We kinda were able to see Mt. Fuji.  We took a nice hot spring bath that was beside the station.  If you want a good hike without the fear of no washrooms, this is definitely the place for you.
