ooh, crap....

This is the translated and edited version of "Oh, sial" from http://manusiakere.blogdrive.com

Background information: I'm a Manga (Japanese comics) freak. But, since I lack money and lack Japanese skill also, I often download the manga scanlation (scan +translation, what a good word). I know that it's called piracy. But, who cares? Hahaha.

Ooh, crap...

As usual, I downloaded manga scanlation from the series that I collected. Accidentally, I found the latest chapter of one of those series. It was like... twenty-something chapter after the last chapter that I read. I was so curious. So, without thinking any further, I decided to download the chapter right away.

But... しょぼん

I regret it so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because... in that chapter... my favorite character died. And, knowing that he would die anyway, I lost my interest to continue reading that serie (even though I already have 3 volumes of the original Japanese version).

Dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lesson for me and for everyone: If you're reading books, or comics, don't skip chapters. You have to suppress your curiosity. If not, you may regret it later. Just like me.... しょぼん

Eh? Is this my bookshelf?

This is the translated and edited version of "Beres-beres Rak Buku" in http://manusiakere.blogdrive.com

Only 9 days left before I finally leave this house. Time passed by so quickly. I still have a lot of things that I want to do, but there's not enough time to do them all. 得意げ

After thinking a while, I decided that I should do something good to my house before I leave, because I don't know when I'll be able to go home again. Only by then I realized that my bookshelf was an absoulute mess. And I was like... "Eh? Is this my bookshelf?"[Hahaha]

So... after 2 hours of struggling, I finally managed to get things back into their proper place. I sorted my books, put my old books that I don't want to see anymore in the storage, and put the rest back into my bookshelf, already sorted by genre and title.

There are some interesting things that I discovered during my struggle:

1. I was able to find some books which I thought never existed in my bookshelf. Apparently, I bought some books and then bought more, even though I hadn't finished reading all the previous books. That happened lots of times, so some books were left forgotten in my bookshelf just like that. Poor books....

2. I actually calculated how much my collection worth... and it was like... more than USD 500. For those rich ppl, 500 bucks is a no-big-deal. But for me, it really is a lot.

3. I found out that some books of the series that I collected were lost. Dammit. It took me a long time and a lot of money to complete them. I'll try to complete them once again, and this time. I'll take care of them more.

Updating my layout

テーマ:notice

se-no. manusia kere desu!!!!

Today I changed the layout of this blog. I just realized that this blog server really had a lot of skin to choose, and a lot of theme also. This one is definitely better than my original blog (damn simple... just white stuffs). Anyway, I choose this Halloween-y thing because I'm totally inspired by Tim Burton's "Nightmare Before Christmas". Hope you'll like it as much as I do.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF MANUSIA KERE!!!

テーマ:notice

se-no, manusia kere desu!!!!!

ngg... I bet, when you saw this blog, the first thought that came was "What the heck?! Why are there japanese characters everywhere??" Well, yea... as you see, I wanted to make an English version of my blog (http://manusiakere.blogdrive.com ), then I just realized that I have an unused account here. So, instead of making a new account somewhere (blogspot, blogdrive, blogger, or whatever), I tried to do something different by putting it here. Maybe at first it will cause you inconvenience [like... "what the heck is this button for?!"] , but as you go through some trial-and-errors, hopefully you'll get used to it.

I think, since this is the first entry, it is better to give you some introduction about myself, and the world that I live in [if not, then you'll be like "What the heck are you talking about? Who is this person? Why are you using such alien words?".. yea, things like that]

My name is manusia kere [not a real name, of course]. This name actually means 'a kere person'. 'Kere' itself, literally means parsimonius or chinchy, but for me, it is a term that I use to describe someone who wants to get the best possible result with the least possible sacrifice. So, let's add the word 'kere' to your vocabulary list.

Currently, I'm an freshman in Super Mugger University [of course not a real name, duh]. International freshman, to be exact. That means, currently I'm not living in my home country, and have to struggle in a foreign country with foreign people, and foreign culture. Living alone with no relatives here, I find that I need to depend on myself.

In this university, I'm pursuing a bachelor degree in Economics. Why? Simply because I thought the principle of economics is quite similar to my life principle. [the kere lifestyle, hehehe]

In this blog, I definitely will mention some people. I'll give you a background information about them as they appear here. That's why, BE SURE TO CHECK THIS ENTRY WHEN YOU GO TO THIS BLOG.

Lastly, this blog will feature some of the entries from http://manusiakere.blogdrive.com that I translate into English, and of course, new entries that I will post directly here.

I'll put my best effort for this blog, and I hope that someday it will reach the "most favorite blog" chart. That's why, please leave me comments, suggestions, and critics that can help me to improve my blogging skill.

Thank you very much for visiting. Have a nice day!!!
