My summer

皆さん、夏バテとかは大丈夫ですか?

長い間、アップできなくて、ごめんなさい。

八月はずっと、カナダで指導のため、忙しくしていました。

日本からご両親から離れて一人で来た生徒もいました。

指導者としては、スケートが上手になってほしい気持ちも、もちろんありますが、カナダでの滞在が一生の思い出、そして、彼らの人生のターニングポイントとなるような、かけがいのないものになって欲しいという想いで、私も頑張ったつもりです。

昨年、選手を引退してから、また新たに広がっている縁。

私にとっては、どんなレベルの選手であっても、かけがえのない生徒であり、縁です。

また、最近、生徒が私と昔、撮った写真を大事にとっていてくれて送ってきてくれます。Before Afterみたいで、老い!?を感じて少々ショックもありますが(笑)

当時は、まさかその子供たちを教えるとは、想像もしていませんでしたが、そういう写真を見たときに、色々な苦労もあるけれども、スケートというスポーツにめぐり合って良かったと感じます。私にスケートがなかったら、こんな、沢山の出会いはなかったと思います。

どういう指導をしていくべきか、そして、教育のこと。もっともっと私も勉強しないといけません。私自身も未熟な部分が沢山あり、生徒を教えることで、沢山の勉強をさせていただいてます。これから、私も人として、スケーターと一緒に成長していけるよう、努力していきますので、どうぞ、よろしくお願いします。

Hello!!! How are you doing?

I’m sorry that I didn’t update my FB for a long time.

I was very busy teaching at Toronto during summer.

There were skaters came from Japan by themselves.

As a coach,I want them to inprove their technic but also I want them to have wonderful experiences for their life durning this trip.

I tried my best to make them happy…

I got so much new destiny after I retired.

Any kind of level,there are all important in my life.

And recently my students sent me pictures that we took when I was competing.

I can see I got old from those pictures so very strange feeling though…

I couldn’t imagine that I am going to teach them later on,but I thank to figure skating so much to have this special destiny.

If I don’t have figure skating in my life, I couldn’t get these.

I need to study a lot about educations.

I’m still learning from teaching kids.

I will work hard and hope I can implove myself with my skaters.
