Hello Ameba People!

Well as some of you may or may not know today is/was my last day teaching at ERoom and so this will be my last Ameba blog entry.

It has been a fun and interesting journey teaching/talking here. I have met so many interesting people from all walks of life who have all sorts of normal, cool and weird reasons for learning English. I am really gonna miss being here and talking to you guys.

I am still going to be in Tokyo so there is a chance that we could run into eachother out on the street or even at any future parties here.

Well that is all.

Hello People of Ameba World

Wow! Today is so HOT! I was really getting used to the cool weather we have had for the past few days but now the heat is back.

Well, what have you been up to this week? I have not done too much just a lot of cleaning which is not a good idea to do when it is so hot. So, over the next few days I plan to relax, because after the holiday on Monday I will be busy running errands again and before you know it Friday will be here again.

So basically I would like to say that time goes by so fast-wait let me correct that! TOO FAST!

Do you know the phrase "time flys"? well basically it means that time goes by too fast.

I realized yesterday-or actually I always knew that I have been in Japan for over 4 years-but it hit me that next month it will 5 years that I have been living in Japan and I have seen so little in this amount of time.

So from know on I really want to take advantage of the situation and see as much of Japan as I can before I decided to leave.

Any suggestions?

Hello Ameba Nation!

Well, I hope everyone is doing well and staying cool with this horrible humidity.

Well this week I went to Tokyo Tower to see the Michael Jackson exhibition thanks to one of my friends working there! I suggest to all of you to go check it out before it closes... but actually it closes tomorrow so you better get there quickly. It is fairly small and a bit expensive but worth the visit if you are an MJ fan.

So that is all for now.

Hello Ameba World!!!

It is so humid! well not today, but lately it has been and I have to use up so much deoderant and body spray and taking showers feels useless sometimes.

Anyway, how is everyone? What have you people been up to lately...since last week?

A few days ago I was able to visit the new museum (Mitsubishi Ichigokan) for the Manet et Modern Paris exhibition. It was nice and not as crowded as I anticipated. There are also a number of nice restaurants that I hope to check out soon if my friends and I can have the same days off. So my point is that you go and check out the exhibition before it closes on the 25th of this month.

If you are a Manet fan then there are a number of well know paintings on display, bu there are a few that were not there that I was hoping to see. Also, since the exhibition is closing in a few weeks a few of the paintings will be leaving before the entire exhibition is over moving on to other museums so I suggest you get there while you can.

AMEBA PEOPLE,

So how has everyone been lately? How is everyone dealing with the humidity?

I hate the humidity so anytime I have to myself or when I am not working I have been spending it at home eating ice cream, surrounded by ice packs or with the air conditioner on.

If I have any errands that need to be taken care of I wait until night when it gets cooler (barely). As for the errands that must be taken care of during the day I make sure to wear clothes with pockets so I can stuff ice packs into them (you know the ice packs you get when you buy cakes or sweets).

What about you guys.... what do you all do to stay cool?
