A Precious FRIEND from God

a few days ago, all of a sudden
an old friend of mine texted me a question;
"Ya, what's the meaning of your name?"
So i texted him back;
"Edwina : a precious friend
Fedora : from God"
he asked;
"SO that means, [A precious friend from God].... wow, how did your mom get that name?
thats beautiful."
i said;
"thats my dad's also!ahahaha!! thats probably from a book, coz i know she had one.
but actually my parents named me Edwina Fedora for a reason.
i am the first child, my dad was working as a high school teacher at that moment,
so had to leave my mom alone everyday. so when they have me, mom's not alone anymore.
so that was it. got the picture?"
people are naming their children for a honest and simple reason.
they want them to be growing up as the WISH they put on their children.
it's almost like jinx. hahahha.
so i sent him more text;
"since that moment i knew the meaning of my name,
i live my life carrying that wish my parents had put in me.
'i have to be a precious friend for my friends!'
i won't let them down, not gonna hurt them, and i have to be reliable.moreover, for everyone."
there was a moment of a pause,
i think that was a bout half an hour or so.
i was watching dorama too, and kinda forget about that.
then he sent me another text;
"thankyou... :-)"
and i was like; what?? you're sending text to the wrong number?
i replied; "hah? thankyou for what? f(o.O)"
he texted; "thankyou for being a great friend of mine~"
aaaaaaahhhh.... sou da, sou da~
demo bikkurishita yo~
nanka, totsuzen desho?
so i was like; "aaah~yes, thankyou. i hope all my friends feel the same =)"
"i'm sure they do," as his finale.
after that text i was sooooo moved and almost got myself burst in tears.hahahahaha!!!
i dunno, it was so meaningful, so honest and it touched my heart the deepest.
it's the feeling that beats 'you're beautiful' to me.
i will treasure this feeling forever.
