昨日は、2年前の12月2日に亡くなったシンガーの
エリック・ウールフソンの命日にちなんで
アラン・パーソンズ・プロジェクトを聞きながら
風呂上り金麦タイム・・・
と、思ったんですけど、途中からだったにもかかわらず、
ついつい最後まで「ルパン三世」を見てしまいました。
新しい「ルパン三世」には毎度毎度がっかりさせられるのですが、
昨日のは思いのほか面白かったです。
どことなく「カリオストロの城」に似ていて懐かしい感じもしました。
ところで、後回しになったアラン・パーソンズ・プロジェクトですが、
自分にとっては大ヒットした「ドント・アンサー・ミー」だけなんです。
現代版(といっても曲のリリースは1984年だけど) フィル・スペクターの
ウォール・オブ・サウンドっぽいところがたまらないんです。
プロモーション・ビデオは、ディック・トレイシー風の男が登場する
アメコミ・タッチの半実写のような立体的なアニメです。
とても大好きな曲なんですが、この曲を聞くたびに
このメロディも一緒に頭の中に流れてきます・・・
