Coffee Hourぶろぐ

Last week's class was about the topic of music. As a group we discussed our musical interests and expressions as well as played a few guessing games involving celebrities.

I'm glad more people decided to participate this week. In total we had 21 students from different countries coming together to learn English. Everyone did a very good job, keep up the good work!

I have been impressed at the grammar and vocabulary of the beginner students. Still, I would like everyone to become more comfortable speaking in an open setting. I think everyone can improve in this area.

Suggestions have been made for more warm-up activities and for me to speak more clearly. Thanks for the input everyone, I will try my best to make it easier for you to understand.

Our next class will discuss hobbies and interests. Please join us and have a good time improving your speaking ability with others.

This week we had 14 participants, including 3 instructors. I was glad to see that so many of you ignored the cold and came to the lesson. We had some new faces but in general you can say that we have a group of students that almost comes every week.

We discussed about the low Japanese birthrate. More specifically we talked about why the birthrate decreased, the impacts it has on society and how we can increase the birthrate.

As I mentioned earlier we now have some people that come every week, which means that we have come to know each other quite well and it shows in the smoothness of the discussions. I think the discussion went well and that we heard many interesting opinions. Hope to see all of you and some new faces next week.
