It seemed that we would lose the race

俺たちは皆、モントルーにやってきた
ジュネーブ湖畔さ
モバイルスタジオでレコードつくるんだが
俺達にあまり時間はなかった

カジノは全焼した

しかいスイスでの時間はもうなかった
俺達はレースで負けたように思えた

俺達の終わりはグランド・ホテルだった
そこは冷たくむき出しで空っぽだった
だがローリング・ストーンズの機材車がすぐ外にある状態だ
そこで俺達の音楽をつくった
いくつかの赤色光 といくつかの古いベッドで
俺達が汗水流す場所を作った
