Since my daughter had such a fun time in her English lesson last time, I took her there again yesterday.
To get there, we have to take a subway for 5minutes and then JR(Japan railway) for 5minutes.
It's not too bad, but riding a train w/ one year old can be tough.
anyway, We were @ Kyoto station waiting on a train and something unbelievable happened.
I don't know how, but I took a wrong train going to an opposite direction!!!!!Eww
When I found out it was the wrong train, I was surprisingly calm and telling my daughter "Oh well, we should get off @ next stop and we'll ride on a right one, OK?"
間違ったとわかっても結構余裕で娘に英語で"Oh well, we should get off @ next stop and we'll ride on a right one, OK?(次の駅で降りて乗り換えようねー)"なんて言っていた。
however, it changed as soon as I realized the train we were on was an express train and wouldn't have a stop in next 20minutes.
It was supposed to be 5minutes ride to the English class, but we ended up w/ riding trains for more than 40minutes just to come back to Kyoto station :(
During the long ride, she was a little grumpy and I was nervous but some ladies sitting near us kept trying to make her laugh.
Thanks to them, we were able to get back to the station w/ no problem!!
It was our great journey yesterday.
Hopefully, It will never happen again!lol
