Downtown in Yokohama

テーマ:Going out!

In Yokohama, there is a very conventional downtown called Noge area. We can see

very old apartments, and every small places are the small Izakaya bar. Some are

very traditional style, some are very harmonized with new culture and old style.

Some of the high class people also enjoying their time as they used to. They

also allow us to enjoy with very low price, but some of the places have so good

qualities.

My friend Makino-san also have a bar called “Red Bar”. He also used to worked at

French restaurant. But he decided to focus for his life with his bar.

He knows wine and grappa very well. He always produce us a surprise with their

collection of them.

In Tokyo, it is also fun to find a good quality thing like exploring. But in Tokyo

costs too high normally. I understand it is caused by the cost of the land, and

also they have the money also to enjoy the high mood.

Tokyo also have the places too in Shinjuku too. They also have the customer

with high class people.

In old time, we Japanese used to enjoy the conversation with the person who sit next

to us. But we don’t know when, we easily started to refuse to do that.

I understand we also do not like the person too sticky with drunken. If you know

how to slip out or with saying “Gomennasai Nihongo Wakarimasen”, Please

try to visit there. If they could speak English, maybe you know the way!

I think there is worth trying to enjoy drinking in downtown place

like Noge. I promise you can find something new and humanity at there.

Especially, you should go Akai mise “Red Bar” to see Makino-san. He can leads you

to the real wine road and he knows which place has the good meals too! Very rare

wine like this Radikon costs just 1,000 yen!! He has so nice collections like these.

See you then!!

Echigo Yuzawa Kagura snowing!! Niigata

テーマ:Going out!

Bala-san asked me to bring him to snowing. I am not an age for enjoying snowboarding,

but I decided to go there because Yuzawa town sightseeing association and Shirataki brewery

had supported for our party before.

Actually I used to work as a snowboarding instructor in my hometown for 4 years. I used to

taught how to enjoy it, about over 500 person in a year.

JR View has the tour includes the fee of Shinkansen bullet train round tickets and also the ticket to

use the lift at ski park for just 8,900yen for weekday!

Kagura ski-park was snowing so much, but snow condition was not bad! Actually I came from

Tohoku, so it was quite heavy snow compare to Zao mountain.

I never wear a grove when I am doing snowing, so everybody ask me why I can survive such a coldness without a grove. Because I never fall down. BUT, four years back, I got falled. So I decided to wear it, but their rental doesn't have a item of grove, so I passed to Eric-san.

My friend Kimura-san helped to my snowing with sending some of the parts, because I never

did for 4 years, because it is a big event for Tokyo people to go to snowboarding. In Sendai,

about 40 min, we could go to ski park, so we used to do snowboarding after working.

Niigata’s snow is very wet so if you do it at there, it is hard to manage if you got small mogul

when you are snowing, easy to be kicked, so we need a good technique to manage the board.

If snow is not wet so much, we easily can manage it. It is a big deference between Niigata and

others.

Echigo Yuzawa station has Ponshu kan they have over 150 sake breweries sake you can taste

easily. Just 500yen, you can try 5 small cup called Ochoko of sakes.

Very interesting display makes us reminds us reality of the drunken gentleman at there.

Anyway, If you have interest, please try to go there ASAP!! Snowing season will be closed soon!

See you then!!
