Hiroshima event went very well with the great support from Miyama-san

She is coming from Hiroshima Prefecture office.

Mainly, we got great support from Kita-Hiroshima town sightseeing

Foundation. Sugihara-san brought real Doburoku and Great dumpling too!

"What is Hip?" in Japan from Japanese frontdesk manager
He is also doing the brewery of making Doburoku.
Doburoku is unfiltered sake. These days, if we order Doburoku, they

Will send us the frozen one. But his Doburoku had never frozen.

So we can feel the bubbles when we take.

He also brought some dumpling from their area. Skins includes Shiso

Japanese leaves, so it has so nice flavor!! Definitely you will like it!!

Tairano Kiyomori is very famous Samurai in old time in Hiroshima area,

And we can watch the TV program called same “Tairano Kiyomori” on

NHK with very popular program at 20:00 on Sunday.

One of the officer of Hiroshima Prefecture office brought real

Armor from his hometown, and wear it and sung a song of Tairano Kiyomori.

He was so popular!!

Yano-san from Hiroshima Prefecture Tokyo Office he cooked great

Okonomiyaki with Hiroshima style.

Hiroshima style means adding noodle with Okonomiyaki.

Otafuku is the most popular company of Okonomiyaki sauce

In Japan!! They also supported for our event too!!

Miyama-san gave some introduction with some Hiroshima

Overview presentation first.

Sugihara-san gave some promotion of Kita-Hiroshima town

About the old traditional event called Kagura, Hana-Taue,

And making process of Doburoku.

Finally, we could succeed the event with them!!

I hope everyone could feel Hiroshima not only with Atomic

Bomb place, and many of our guest will visit there and

See the traditional event too!!

See you then!!

It was the first time to cook Okinawa dishes for me, so I tried to

start to research what is the Okinawa vegetables and foods for

the ingredients.

I visited Washita shop in Ginza, and asked to the shop manager

what is the good way to express real Okinawa style.

http://www.washita.co.jp/info/shop/ginza/index.html

They have so many kind of Okinawa vegetables, but some are

just different way of call them they have.

Sakuma-san is the president of Mitsukura foods company, he sent

us a great brown sugar for us, so I could cook RAFUTEE cooked

pork, and their sugar have so nice flavor too, so I added every dishes

too.

Typical ingredient is GOYA, it has so much bitter taste, so I thought

it is difficult to accept for the foreign country’s people, but most of

our guest enjoyed them.

"What is Hip?" in Japan from Japanese frontdesk manager

Awamori from Seifuku brewery is so popular in Tokyo, and their

rich flavor is so different from others. My friend Mark-san strongly

recommended them when he went to Okinawa.

I worried about the strong flavor of Awamori can be accepted

to foreign countries people, but everybody enjoyed Seifuku.

"What is Hip?" in Japan from Japanese frontdesk manager

Most of our guests, does not know what is Awamori, so I recommended

to enjoy with ice cubes, and also I said to them wait for 10 min to be

mild. Then every members came to me to say “It’s nice!”.

I think it is very important for the foods and drinks at the entrance.

Also my dishes are so popular with them too!! I think I should have

small restaurant in future!

I am trying to plan for next one already, so see you next!!

Thank you Mark-san to find a great brewery with your Okinawa tour!
