近所に「ナイアガラ」と名付けたところがあります。今朝は特に早く目が覚めたので、散歩としては、ちょっと遠出のナイアガラにタロウと行くことにしました。今朝の夙川は水流に勢いがあり、ナイアガラへ行く途中にも、「ミニ・ナイアガラ」がところどころにありました。ミニ・ナイアガラで満足して帰りました。
There is a spot we named “Niagara Falls” in our neighbor. I woke up very early this morning, so I decided to have a long walk with Taro to Niagara. Stream of Shukuwaga River was fast, so we found mini Niagaras here and there and ended up being satisfied with those minis.
オープニングのアリア「私のお父さん」で、ぐっと映画に引き込まれました。ヘレナ・ボナム・カーター演ずるルーシーについては、いろいろ解釈はあるのでしょうが、私は、ただただ、ルーシーが自分の気持ちに素直に納得して従うまでの過程を、楽しみました。場面変換に使われる絵と文字もわくわく感を抱かせてくれました。
The opening Aria, “O mio babbino caro” drew me into the movie. There might be various interpretations on the main character acted by Helena Bonham Carter, but I simply enjoyed how she found her real self. I also enjoyed a series of relief between the scenes, which show drawings and titles.
初めて見た時、派手じゃないのにおしゃれな映画、と思った。時々レンタルしては観ていたので、DVDを購入。久しぶりにまた観る。若い時にしておきたいような恋ですね。旅先で出会い、非日常故に本音を話し親近感が増し、でも相手に惹かれていくところはなかなかストレートに伝えることができず、別れの時は着々と迫っているので、それまでになんとかしたい焦り。本当に別れなければいけないのか、という新たな問題。
ここまでほとんど会話だけで持っていくのは、脚本と役者の魅力がすごいのでしょう。
“Before Sunrise” – the movie is not gorgeous, but has a smart atmosphere. This was my first impression to the movie. I got the DVD. Saw it again. This is something you might want to do when you are young and free. A boy meets a girl when travelling. Your are out of everyday’s life, and it makes you honest to a stranger, and you two start to be attracted to each other but cannot express it so straight. The departure for each destination is getting closer, and you want to do something. You begin to think if you two have to be apart forever when the journey ends.
I think who wrote this screenplay must be talented. And so are Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy who acted as a couple during the journey.
ジャック・ニコルソンが出ていたら、まずその映画はおもしろい、と思っていいみたい。ダイアン・キートンも売れっ子の感があります。彼女がなんともうらやましい映画。仕事も恋もばっちりで。主演3人の中で、キアヌ・リーヴズが一番若く、でも一番大人という役柄でした。
If Jack Nicholson is in, that movie is good. My guess is right with high probability. “Something's Gotta Give” was one of them. Diane Keaton seems to have lots of opportunities of interesting roles. As a woman, her role in this movie is so envious. She has both carrier and love life. Keanu Reeves’ character was the youngest and most matured.
「なんておしゃれな映画！」というのが観賞後、口をついて出ました。主人公のカフェで働くジェシカに、出会う人達が気を許して本心をみせてしまう、それが自然にみえてしまう、ジェシカ演ずる女優さん、セシル・ドゥ・フランスは魅力的でした。
“What a sophisticated movie!“ was my first comment after seeing "Fauteuils d'orchestre." Everybody gets off guard and become honest when they meet Jessica, who works at café. A series of this kind of episodes looks so natural. Cécile de France, who acts as Jessica, was that attractive.
