今月の連休に、自宅で友人Ｓさんの国家試験一次突破お祝い会をしました。彼女の好物はプリン。作りましたとも、心をこめて。

On the one of three-day holidays this month, I held a small get-together for my friend, S-san for passing the first stage of a national exam.  Her favorite is flan.  I cooked it "especially for her."

今日、お茶しませんかというＫさんからの嬉しいお誘い。彼女は、おしゃれで洗練された女性なんで、会うと華やいだ気分になります。今年の7月に休暇でアメリカの友人を訪ねた時のお土産を持ってきてくれました。かわいらしいくちょっとゴージャスな写真たて。人物用ですよね。

I met my friend K-san today.  We chatted over a cup of tea.  She is chic and sophisticated woman, who brightens the atmosphere.  She brought a souvenir from USA for me.  It is small but gorgeous... for a couple.
