ご無沙汰してます。
最近は、年明けのギリシャで思い出した自分の感覚ー日々の喜びや素直な気持ち、静かな時間、心地好く過ごせる心の落ち着きー等を見失わない様にと、仕事以外の時間は自分のペースから踏み出さずにゆっくり過ごしています。している作業は普段と変わりないのに、自分に優しく、無理無く、という心持ちで、感じ方が大分違うのです。面白いものですね。
最近では、「愛は霧の彼方に～Gorillas In the Mist」を観直したり、浮世絵の展覧会に行ったり、三島由紀夫は散々読み漁ったので伊丹十三や、つげ義春の本を楽しんでいます。
I haven't written much in a while... Since I came back from Greece I've been trying to spend my days preciously, savouring the little joys that each day brings, listening to my inner urges and keeping my private time within my own rhythm. It's so easy for me in the city to feel like I have energy I don't really have, stimulated by the milliard amazing inspirations and people that surround me. So I need to sometimes consciously step back, in order to keep a sense of myself. My activities haven't changed greatly, but just keeping that sense of letting go of the city's rhythm and keeping my own, has been giving me a sense of relief.
しかしそんな中で、今週の土曜日は、ジュエリーのローンチ・イベントをします。新宿ISETANで2～6時、私の大事なキャメルちゃん達と、1Fジュエリー売り場にいますので、是非遊びに来て下さい、声掛けてくださいねー。
However - amidst all that - this Saturday, I will be doing a launch event for my jewellery line in Isetan Shinjuku. I'll be standing next to my baby camels on the ground floor jewellery section, 2 - 6pm (on and off), if you care to pop in and say hi!
