I went to Tokyo Dome to watch the Opening Game of Oakland Athletics vs Seattle Mariners
I was waiting for this day for a long time
The atmosphere of the stadium was greeeaaat
The audience became in one naturally
And cheered for the game as much energy as possible
We everyone send a big big cheer for the each play
I have not heard such a big, powerful (actually more than that) cheer
I felt that everyone ,including myself, are really enjoying the time from the bottom of the heart
Powerful Homerun , dinamic dive trying to catch the ball , and many many ........etc
I can't express everything only by the word. That is beyond description ! ! if I say, I really felt that "Oh ! ! ! This is Major League Baseball ! ! !"
And especially, when Ichiro go to the batter's box, the voltage became soooooo high ! !
We welcomed him in a powerful cheer and thunder-like applause
Also shouted "Ichiro ! Ichiro ! Ichiro !....." together ! !
And when he did his "routine" ,which the one that rounds his right hand and straighten up in the air,
the hundreds of camera flush light were glitterd in the stand ! !
Everytime the picher throws, we saw it holding our breath.
At his first at bat, he hit the ball...... the ball went over the picher, Ichiro run to the first base, and it became an infield hit ! !
So that means his first hit of this season ! ! !
We exploded with the joy ! ! ! was like the expression, roof of the dome neraly flown away by the cheer
So, Ichiro's hits counter "Ichi-meter",which is set at the right field stand, did a first job, The number "1" was put in it ! ! !
And of course, it is not yet the end of "Ichiro Theater",
At the first base, he makes a big lead and try to steal the base. When he ran, we got excited ! !
the second at bat, he hit an infield hit,
the third at bat he hit the ball to center field hit.
the fourth at bat was left fielder's liner, but the ball was hit by the herat of the bat and the batting ball was very strong
the fifth at bat which was in 11th inning, with the runner on second, he hit a timely hit to the center field, and Mariners made the lead bigger, the score became 3-1, meaning Mariners go to "the very safe zone"
We are very happy to see his 4 of his hits, on the stage of Japan ! ! !
And ,of course Ichiro himself must have been very happy, too ! ! !
really felt the deep meaning of what people often say "Ichiro is a God ! ! ! "
Again, I really felt "Oh ! ! ! This is Major League Baseball ! ! !"
was a lot of lot of fun ! ! ! became a very very nice important memory
